Job Core Responsibilities

•Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
•Maintain an acceptable safety record.
•Maintain an acceptable attendance record
•Willing to learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required.
•Completes necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance
•Follow written and verbal instructions.
•Position requires overtime to production schedules and demands. 
•Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
•Self-monitor work progress against fast-paced area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work
•Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects
•Assist other departments with job duties and tasks, as needed within the scope of expertise
•Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ instructions for continued airworthiness, services bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
•Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, with limited supervision.
•Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
•Other responsibilities as assigned
•Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary


Physical Requirements

•Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing/walking about in-door Company facilities.
•Lift and Carry up to 45 lbs.
•Use hand tools, and power tools.
•Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-side.
•Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.
•Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf.
•Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded.
•Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling.
•Minimal: exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces

The Temp FAA Test Technician performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment. 

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field 
Years Experience: 
Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics Manufacturing/Testing environment
Skills:

•Ability to utilize manual and automated test equipment to test digital and analog circuitry.
•Ability to read schematics and understand the circuit function.
•Must be able to communicate fluently in technical terms both verbally and in writing.
•Ability operate environmental test chambers
•Experience with MS Office Suite
•Must be computer literate.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
