Job Designation

The candidate will support Securaplane’s Program Management Department in its development, maintenance and execution of program plans and schedules.  This position provides the opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of Program Management methodologies and the importance of the Program Management function in successfully completing product development and process projects. 

Job Core Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of a Program Manager, assist with driving projects to deliver on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Support Program Managers in creating and maintaining project documentation
    • Schedules
    • Plans
    • Risk Registers
    • Action items List
  • Assisting the Program Manager in tracking and providing the status of team members assigned tasks
  • On the job learning of Program Management methodologies and Securaplane Processes
  • Employ knowledge and skills learned from school in day-to-day work
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Work 20 hours per week depending on school schedule and school commitments
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications


Education: Minimum of 3 years of study towards BS in Business Management or Engineering degree and currently enrolled in at least Junior level Engineering classes (300 level)


  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Proven track record of commitment to school work
  • Self-motivated and well organized
  • Proficient with MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with  Microsoft SharePoint
  • High attention to detail
  • Solid writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team environment  
  • Desire to continuously increase personal capabilities and engineering skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong work ethics and ability to drive tasks to completion
