Job Designation
Supports inventory and materials management team with coordinating activities for storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory. Assists the department with administrator assignments, while conducting a variety of duties towards meeting the team’s goals and business objectives.
Assists in the inspection of a wide range of components, parts and materials as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance Instructions.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Kits materials & components for issuance to the shop floor
- Maintains inventory accuracy through receipts, issues, and material stock transfers
- Executes Cycle Counts of materials & components
- Unloading of product deliveries
- Unpacks and checks goods received and rejects unsatisfactory items for RTV
- Utilizes various inspection tools to check dimensions on raw materials & component parts for compliancy to drawings & specifications and performs First Article Inspections
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Years Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment
- Capable of following instructions and applying processes and procedures to standard routine tasks
- Must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite along with developed keyboarding skills
- Experience with SAP & ERP Systems preferred
