Job Designation

The Quality Inspector I performs routine visual inspections of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned, according to detailed job instructions and procedures. Identifies routine quality issues and resolves problems to meet quality requirements.

Job Core Responsibilities

Performs routine visual inspections of components, parts and/or products

Identifies routine quality issues and resolves problems to meet quality requirements

Perform calibrations per established criteria, of measuring and test equipment

Accurately document and control of Non-Conforming material

Accurately disposition Non-Conforming material daily. (i.e. scrap, return to vendor, or rework)

Conduct First Article inspections

Conduct testing on shop floor

Must take proactive hands on approach and work well in a team environment

Job Specifications

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.  
Years Experience : 1 Year prior inspection experience preferred

Working Environment/Physical Activities (Or Limitations):

Product lifting

Eyesight correctable to 20/20
