Job Designation

The Sr. Procurement Analyst is responsible for key processes and systems that support procurement across Meggitt’s various divisions, businesses units, and functions.  These include, but are not limited to, spend visibility, e-sourcing solutions, savings funnel management, monetary reporting, commodity reporting, supplier scorecards, Meggitt dashboards (by businesses and by categories), risk management, government compliance, etc.  The Procurement Excellence Manager will work with the procurement organizations across the Meggitt sites globally. 

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Global/corporate procurement reporting.
  • SAP data extracts to feed to the global spend management solution; ensuring extracts from all of the non-SAP systems are submitted.
  • Continuous improvement of data, ensuring data is clean/reliable for all levels of reporting.
  • Partner with the supplier excellence team on document/standardizing process.
  • Health of Meggitt’s savings funnels to enable group savings targets.
  • Maintain and improve Meggitt’s buy-side contract database.
  • Track and report progress of key procurement excellence initiatives and Meggitt compliance (by location) to these initiatives.
  • Travel periodically to the various Meggitt and supplier location
  • Support annual cost reductions, VMI, consignment inventory, lead-time reductions, favorable payment terms, etc.
  • Leadership of group-wide initiatives as required (in addition to items on this current list).

Job Specifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing within Aerospace or similar technology / industry
  • 5+ years of direct experience in supplier and procurement management
  • Global supply chain experience managing cross functional teams and matrix organizations in a fast pace company
  • Project and  programme management skills
  • Understanding of key procurement KPIs, operating systems and early warning systems
  • Expertise with various procurement systems, tools and productivity measures
  • Self-starter who works independently with ability to think strategically
  • Demonstrated experience seeing through strategy, execution and delivery of measurable results


  • Functional knowledge of ERP (SAP) systems
  • Analytics and problem solving skills (proficient with Excel)
  • eSourcing experience (eAuctions, eRFX)
  • Business and financial acumen. Knows how to make a compelling business case.

  • Proactive and situational management
  • Strong abilities in engaging people and aligning strategies with positive influence and credible business cases
