Job Designation
The Stockroom Coordinator supports Inventory and Materials Management Team with coordinating activities for storing, issuing and maintaining inventory. Assists the department with administration assignments, while conducting a variety of duties towards meeting the teams goals and business objectives.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel
- Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods)
- Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records
- Completes analyses of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and other functional areas for requirements
- Maintains inventory records in accordance with established systems and control procedures
- Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner
- Coordinates and communicates with other departments to resolve and close actions
- Generates required documentation or reports and assists in tracking department performance towards goals and objectives
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications
Education : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications :
Years Experience : 2 years or more of relevant experience
Skills :
- Knowledge and experience in inventory and materials management processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
- Ability to solve typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $33,300-49,900
