Job Designation

This position works as part of our Operations team to ensure on time and on budget order fulfillment for our customers. The main purpose of this role is to support digital transformation of technologies such as Visual Factory, SPS and FMEA, Lean transformation of the factories, and clarity of order fulfillment status to achieve the business revenue plan.

The Operations Project Manager will be working directly with the Operations leaders of Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering and manage projects aimed to maximize revenue, minimize arrears, and optimize productivity.

Job Core Responsibilities
  • Provides Operations project management and status for high-visibility, high-impact initiatives
  • Conducts status meetings and coordinates activities to determine project progress against planned completion dates.
  • Manages deployment of capital equipment in the factories
  • Manages lean transformation of the factories to include Kanban pull systems, level-loading, productivity and on time delivery of customer orders.
  • Manage projects related to automation deployment in the factories to increase capacity.
  • Performs analysis and troubleshooting to determine root causes of technical issues and work with the various Operations functions to achieve resolution and recovery of past due customer orders.
  • Creates standard procedures in accordance with customer specifications and current processes.
  • Serves as a single-point-of-contact for assigned projects
  • Prepare and deliver project progress and status documents
  • Review activities of cross-functional teams to achieve compliance with company standards, customer’s requirements, statement of work and related specifications
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications

Education : Graduate, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management, and Manufacturing Engineering that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Years Experience : 15 years or more of relevant experience

  • Engineering knowledge to improve products by applying best practices and testing experience
  • Troubleshooting experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work methodically on complex issues
  • Effective interpersonal skills to manage projects and to drive tasks to completion
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate well with others
  • Possess strong computer skills as well as technical writing skills

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent communicator and team-builder with strong Interpersonal, negotiation, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MRP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
