Job Designation

The Commercial Coordinator provides administrative support in contract development and document management tasks for the Commercial Management Team. Coordinates contract activities, while assisting in the preparation of proposals, bid reviews and contract development.

Job Core Responsibilities
  • Assists with the preparation of proposals, bid reviews and contract documents
  • Provides support with customer negotiations and dissemination of agreements
  • Monitors and reports on performance against contracts and assists with contract amendments
  • Coordinates contract closedown/exit activities and associated documentation 
  • Maintains the contract management system, databases, reports and records that are necessary to support Commercial Management Team activities
  • Supports the Customer Service Team in  resolving and closing action items
  • Effectively communicates with customers to ensure timely resolution of open actions for all customer service related issues
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications

Education :  A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years Experience : 2 years or more of relevant experience
Skills
   

  • Knowledge and experience of contract development and management processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
  • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options    
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
