Job Designation

The Quality Technician role supports quality department by ensuring correctness of documentation, and submittals to the customers.

Job Core Responsibilities

Non-conformance Help:

  • When there are non-conformances identified, the quality technician is to ensure correctness and validate the nonconformance
  • Work with the engineers on establishing correct disposition and corrective action for nonconformance identified
  • Being the focal point to the customer when submitting nonconformance’s/ QNS to gain approval from the customer
  • Ensure quality records are maintained per customer requirements


Production Help:

  • Support production by ensuring on time delivery is achieved
  • Ensuring correctness of production travelers to prevent escapes entering into our customers engines
  • Conduct electronic disposition transactions through ERP system
  • Maintain reports & records for all aspects of MRB process
  • Support QE in the creation of Corrective Action Documentation
  • Performs visual inspections of parts to sort non-conformances
  • Document production issues for communication and resolution.
  • Develop, coordinate, implement, update, monitor, and assure compliance with Meggitt quality policies and procedures

Job Specifications

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Years Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience


  • High school graduate or equivalent. College Degree Preferred
  • Excellent math skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to read blueprints, apply GDT and understand industry and customer specifications.
  • Proficiency in use of standard measuring tools such as micrometers, Calipers, height gauges, electronic calculator, etc
  • Experience working in Quality role for manufacturing, aerospace industry preferred.
