Job Designation

 The Quality Inspector II inspects a range of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance Instructions. Identifies moderately difficult quality issues in design, process or other inefficiencies to meet quality requirements.

Job Core Responsibilities

  •     Assures product conformance by verifying part dimensions using CMM, calipers, micrometers, pin gages and visual inspection.
  •     Follows Work instruction that give detailed instruction on the measurements to be performed.
  •     Accurately record acceptance / rejection data and stamp off or reject the documentation accordingly to assure traceability
  •     Participates in process improvement activity: Measurement system analysis, Data collection and basic analysis for non-normal conditions, opportunities for improvements.
  •     Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

Job Specifications

ducation : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications : Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
Years Experience : 2- 5 years of relevant experience
Skills :   

  •     Must have experience using CMM (Primary requirement) and Secondary gages (micrometer, calipers, pin gages)
  •     Must be detailed oriented to record data and approvals correctly and write up non conformances accurately.
  •     Must be able to work with team members resolve quality issues.
  •     Following detailed work instructions and ability to read drawing is a must 
  •     Proficient computer skills
