Job Designation

The Quality Inspection Coordinator supports the Manufacturing Operations/Quality Team with administrative tasks. Synchronizes quality-related activities, while conducting a variety of duties towards meeting the teams goals and business objectives.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • The Quality Inspection Coordinator supports the Manufacturing Operations/Quality Team with administrative tasks and coordinates quality-related activities.

  • Maintains the databases, reports and records that are necessary to support the team and quality documentation requirements.

  • Coordinates and communicates with other departments to resolve quality related issues and close actions.

  • Provides excellent customer service through prompt responses to inquiries and routine problem solving.

  • Assists with the preparation of manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows.

  • Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner.

  • Verifies that customer and supplier problems are resolved and completed on time to requirements.

  • Operates a variety of office equipment to accomplish daily tasks and orders office supplies to keep consumables in stock

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

Job Specifications

Education:  A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

Years Experience:  2 or more years of relevant experience depending on the complexity level of the job.

Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations/quality processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team.

  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.

  • Ability to solve typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options.

  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.

  • Skilled at  measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment.

  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills .
