Across its five product groups, Airframe Systems produces a host of world leading technology. Our Braking Systems product group supplies both military and commercial aircrafts.

We seal essential spaces, such as landing gear, wings, engines, nacelles, windows and doors, and produce intelligent air data systems and sensors that measure altitude, angle or acceleration. These sensors can be used on planes, train control systems or even missile control systems.

Job Designation

The Financial Analyst applies expertise to prepare, consolidate, and analyze the monthly financials. Prepares reports and makes recommendations to management, while ensuring the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Job Core Responsibilities

•    Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies.
•    Performs month-end close responsibilities in SAP and BFC and prepares related summary commentary and analysis. 
•    Collects and consolidates data from all sites within the product group to ensure deadlines are met.
•    Reviews data for accuracy and completeness and provides feedback to product group leads.
•    Drives process improvement initiatives that impact function and efficiency.
•    Partner with the various business teams to monitor and measure progress against targets.
•    Assist in the preparation and presentation of the annual budget and strategic plan including related summary commentary and analysis. 
•    Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data to conduct analyses. 
•    Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures. 
•    Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports. 
•    Work with confidential data, which, if disclosed, might have significant internal or external effect.
•    Other responsibilities as assigned
•    Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
•    Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Job Specifications

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Required)
Years’ Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and forecasting (Required)
•    Thorough understanding and experience of standard accounting concepts, practices, procedures and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
•    Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis acquired through related work experience
•    Ability to analyze and translate complex data into easily understandable information and make recommendations using analytical expertise to solve complex problems
•    Strategic thinker and multi-task oriented
•    Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
•    Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and database management tools
•    Advanced Excel capabilities including creating macros and data manipulation
