Job Designation

The Engineer I, Chemical provides chemical engineering expertise in the design and development of new or improved Meggitt products. Advises on technical issues and provides solutions in support of business development activities.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Provides Chemical Engineering expertise in the design and development of Meggitt products
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to perform qualification and validation activities
  • Supports activities to enable cost reduction, process efficiency and operational excellence
  • Applies regulatory compliance requirements to product design, development, transfer and commercialization activities
  • Works in Chemical Engineering Teams to improve processes, methods and products
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Job Specifications

Education : Post-secondary degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
