Job Summary

The Operational Excellence (HPS) leader will help support the Director of Process Excellence with activities across Ansty Park our Global HQ, focused on creating world class processes by eliminating waste using the HPS tool and techniques.  This will include both operational and business process improvement initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Help to deploy Business Process Maturity assessment, tools, and system to develop capable processes that deliver one way of working across Ansty which deliver lean transformation benefits across the enterprise / functional processes.
  • Drives tangible and measurable improvements of key processes, Identifies creative opportunities to drive excellence and remove waste, bureacy and promote simplification.
  • Support HPS team and Ansty site in HPS Achievement journey including leading element improvements.
  • Leads and/or facilitates Kaizen events and develops employees in the application and maintenance of Lean tools and methods
  • Develops detailed project plans to drive implementation and tracks results
  • Analyses opportunities, evaluates alternatives to maximize savings and improve customer service
  • Able to establish processes, benchmarks, tracks systems, timelines and procedures for implementation of best practices

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Strong experience in Driving Processes / Operational excellence and delivery of business results
  • Must be a proven facilitator/ trainer within a lean discipline and a quick learner who is adaptive to and embraces change
  • Envisions the future, customer focus, takes measured risks
  • A passion for Lean Deployment at the system level
  • Competence in Change, Project and Process Management
  • Great networking skills and the ability to influence outside of own team.
  • Energetic, disciplined, focused & has the ability to see beyond temporary set backs
  • Strong Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI, or Sharepoint Site Administration skills desirable
  • Lead the development of the HPS (Meggitt High Performance System), ensuring contribution from, and alignment with, the key stakeholders across the business process Transformation
