Job Designation
The Director of Operations oversees and manages the operational performance of the businesses. Develops business operations policies and systems to support the strategic direction and is responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations task.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Provides business operations leadership with regard to all facets of operations analysis, performance management, and third-party vendors
- Directs and maintains business operations strategies and standard operational frameworks to meet established program goals
- Responsible for analysis and tracking performance data on key performance indicators (KPI) in support of strategic goals
- Develops new ideas and communicate potential uses for analytics across the business, including product enhancements, best practices, and process/organizational improvement
- Creates plans, develops and e, and establishes policies to facilitate business units or business processes to meet objectives in accordance with strategic corporate direction.
- Collaborates with business unit leaders to formulate strategies that satisfy business and customer requirements
- Performs data analysis from business unit processes and communicates metrics to upper management
- Develops and supports a cross-functional culture of continuous improvement
- Directs the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by eliminating hazards, training employees, and promoting safety awareness
- Leads and directs work for a team of employees as defined by business needs
- Manages staff selection, performance, development, and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and a, additional hours as necessary
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Job Specifications
Education: 4-year Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or materials management is required (a Master’s or MBA degree is preferred)
Years Experiences: Min 10 years of managerial experience in operations

- Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $123K- $215K
