Job Designation

The USM Sales Manager will be responsible for purchasing and selling Used Serviceable Material and Surplus material in the region.  

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Develop sales opportunities within geographic territory.
  • Proactively execute all stages of sales cycle including cold call prospecting, quotations and lead follow up to sales closure. 
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of USM customers in the allocated Region, in-line with annual sales targets.
  • Identify USM to buy in-line with our ‘Harvest lists’ – or making recommendations for parts to be added to our ‘Harvest List’
  • Send push lists of available inventory to targeted customer base
  • Maintain a pipeline of sales equal to 120% of bookings targets
  • Research and communicate market trends and customer fleet movements to forecast sales opportunities
  • Work with wider Regional sales team to provide training and support, to enable them to promote USM to their Customers.
  • Assist with pricing proposals for long term spares agreements with current spares customers to enhance sales, retain business and improve service levels. 
  • Provide regular assistance to produce reports to the leadership team on sales metrics, opportunities and performance for month end reporting purposes.
  • Assist in developing sales strategies, sales objectives.
     

Job Specifications

Education:  Post-Secondary Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectation.

Years Experience:  5-7 years of relevant experience.
