Job Designation

The Customer Service Assistant supports the Customer Services team in the administration of customer accounts. Performs a variety of administrative duties for the customer services department.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Assists the Customer Services team by providing a variety administrative tasks in support of customer accounts
  • Performs basic data entry and reporting through the business unit Material Requirements Planning system
  • Supports the teams activities by resolving customer product issues and/or answering questions
  • Maintains effective communication with customers
  • Assists with the generation of departmental reports and tracking against key performance indicators
  • Works to ensure the customers experience with Meggitt products is exceptional
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
     

Job Specifications

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
Skills :

  • Aerospace/Aviation experience is nice to have
  • SAP or Quantum system or equivalent experience is nice to have
  • Service-oriented attitude to cultivate positive customer relationships
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills to drive task to completion
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
