Job Designation

Oversees the flawless execution of the quality management system per AS9100 and NQA-1, corporate policies and procedures. Manages the corrective and preventative action system, internal audits, and maintains certification for ODA FAA, NADCAP and AS9100 certification.

Job Core Responsibilities


  1. Maintains certification with AS9100, National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP), Nuclear Regulatory Agencies, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
  2. Ensures effective root cause analysis and closed loop corrective actions.
  3. Prepares the yearly schedule of internal audits. Maintains the Quality Assurance Manual.
  4. Organizes the successful execution of customer and regulatory audits. Ensures timely response and closure of CARs and audit findings.
  5. Ensures MAS-VC document compliance to AS9100, NQA-1, corporate QMS and provide training.
  6. Ensure compliance to customer contractual requirements. Maintains access to customer portals.
  7. Manages the training program across the site, operator certifications. Tracks training program effectiveness. Oversees the calibration lab.
  8. Plans and organizes Management and Corrective Action Board Reviews.
  9. Responsible for communication of bulletins, alerts from customers, regulatory agencies and corporate directives.
  10. Provides a monthly assessment of customer scorecard health based on metrics, trends and recent events with recommendations for corrective, preventive actions.
Job Specifications

Required Skills:

  1. 10+ years’ experience in a quality management.
  2. Experience with AS9100, AS9102, AS13004, AS9145, NQA-1, FAA regulations and policies etc.
  3. Knowledge and experience in the effective use of Root Cause Corrective Action, containment and analysis process and tools.
  4. Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively persuade and influence through positive communication with stakeholders, team members, suppliers, management.

Desired Skills

  1. Strong background in configuration management.
  2. Strong background in six sigma tools and methodologies (i.e. Kaizen, Design of Experiments (DOE), Measurement System Analysis(MSA), Failure Mode Effects Analysis(FMEA), etc).
    Required Education (including Major): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
