Job Summary

Work transfer is a key initiative within the Polymer Product group strategy. The Project Manager will manage the transfer of a number of work packages to our Xiamen facility, following the internal work transfer process

Core Responsibilities

  •    Collaborates with the transfer team in the process of creating new project transfers and applying lessons learnt from previous projects
  •    Operates cross functionally to deliver clear direction between stakeholders and the project deliverables
  •    Delivers customer-centric solutions in line with the project charter
  •    Ensures all requirements and associated acceptance criteria are captured, managed and tracked throughout the project
  •    Maintains revision controlled baselines of project documentation as change occurs
  • Achieves milestones and deliverables against the milestone plan and implements warnings to trigger corrective actions
  •    Monitors the current non-recurring costs against the approved schedule

Job Specifications

  •    Previous experience within work transfer or transitional activities environment
  •    Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field of business. (E.g. New Product Introduction, Project Management)
  •    Previous application of technical project management skills on projects as set out within the responsibilities
  •    Capable of creating strong customer relationships and sustaining them over a period of time
  •    A track record of applying problem solving techniques to resolve issues when they arise
  •    Excellent organizational skills. Able to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure
