Job Designation

The Site HR Manager/Business Partner will partner with managers and employees to align HR services with the business objectives. Will operate as HR expert for the site to advise, guide and provide proactive and pragmatic support to line managers and employees in the implementation and follow-up of HR processes and policies. Will also contribute to the development of and implementation of an engaged environment which will underpin Meggitt’s organizational values and strategy and allow the organization to continue working towards a high performance culture.

Job Core Responsibilities

Human Resource Business Partnership
•    Partner closely with management and employees at site level, as well as with HR colleagues within the Group, to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization
•    Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance and employee relations issues
•    Provide customer service to employees and people managers by answering questions related to interpretation of company policies and procedures
•    Support the employees lifecycle, including on-boarding, development, transfers/promotions, international assignments and departures

Performance and Talent Management
•    Assist line managers in identifying skills gaps between current and future organization: identify, develop and roll out staffing and employee development strategies to attract and retain the best employees
•    Ensure action plan follow-up and effectiveness for all identified learning and development needs
•    Act as a trusted business partner and coach for our people managers, thoroughly challenging the status quo and fostering a continuous improvement culture across our site
•    Help build a process driven organization with clear roles and responsibilities across the site
•    Assist managers in building up a positive work environment based on our values
•    Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning for key talents and key job positions
•    Identify training needs for teams and individuals
•    Find the right training /development programs

HR function improvements and Site projects
•    Lead Site HR Projects/initiatives, ensuring proper and timely implementation
•    Contribute to the continuous improvement and update of HR tools, processes, and policies
•    Identify opportunities for improvement and making recommendations 
•    Support the various functional and administrative requirements of the HR department

HR Administration
•    Supporting the various functional and administrative requirements of the HR department
•    Provide site payroll responsibility for time and attendance and payroll preparation
•    Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by line management
•    Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business
•    Contributing to a positive employee relations culture
•    Playing a role models Meggitt’s values and behaviors

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Work Psychology or related field
Years’ Experience: Practical understanding and at least 8 years of experience of key HR processes and practices with exposure to business within a multinational company; experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience in project management with a keen understanding of the project management discipline and best practices would be an asset

•    Proficient with IT tools, knowledge of SAP and/or Success Factors applications preferred
