Job Designation

This role is responsible for providing HSE and HR Administrative support for the Meggitt’s site; partnering with cross-functional facility teams and leaders. Provides support to operational teams and conduct various environmental and administrative related activities to ensure regulatory and company requirement compliance.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Safety Compliance/Applications
    • Subject matter expert for safety related standards including, but not limited to Fall Protection, Confined Space, Cranes, Hoists & Slings, Powered Industrial Trucks, emergency response, emergency evacuation, etc.
  • Chemical management
    • Management of site Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical labeling, chemical storage and handling requirements, etc.
  • Customer support
    • Provide customer support of production teams including, but not limited to, incident investigation, chemical requests, etc.
    • Provide HSE support for process/equipment reviews including lockout tagout, machine guarding, ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, etc.
  • Training and Procedures
    • Assist in New Hire training (creation, tracking, and delivery)
    • Aid with the creation and updates of existing HSE policies and procedures according to site HSE Management System

Job Specifications

Education Level: (Required):  High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive employee and company information.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Ability to research and analyze data effectively 
  • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports
  • Good/Strong/Excellence verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent customer service orientation
