Job Designation


The Accounting Clerk performs routine accounting activities under general supervision. Provides support for the Financial Accounting and Control team with clerical tasks and records management

Job Core Responsibilities


• Process a volume of invoices performing three-way matching.
• Completes payments by weekly check runs.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
• Resolves purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
• Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Process employee expenses reports
• Collect and reconciles timecard information, prepares and submits payroll files, processes check runs, and distributes paychecks
• Maintains historical records by preparing and filing documents 
• Other responsible projects as assigned
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary.
• Assist our division HR leader in Miami if needed

Job Specifications


Education: AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred but not required


Years of experience: 2+ years of experience in an A/P role on PO environment required.


• Basic understanding of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
• Excellent internal and external customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in changing situations
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options
• Demonstrate the ability to follow standard procedures and internal controls are a requirement
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ERP System with accurate data entry skills
• Good Spanish communication (Verbal & Written) skills
