We are currently looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Controller
Job Designation
The Supply Chain and R&D Controller applies analytical expertise in performing economic research on rates of return, depreciation and investments, and analysis of profit-and-loss income statements. Prepares reports and makes recommendations to management, while ensuring the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Job Core Responsibilities
- Calculate and optimize products standard costs and perform analysis on Manufacturing Variances and Inventory revaluation
- Support SIOP process improvement in order to ensure an efficient and accurate Operations financial forecast
- Support Inventory optimization initiative and implementation of inventory control process
- Support Kaizen initiatives at shop floor level, as well as Value Stream mapping
- Coordinate CAPEX forecast and Fixed Asset compliance
- Lead R&D forecast for Annual Operating Plan, Rolling Forecast and weekly flash
- Ensure compliant accounting treatment of R&D projects in accordance to US GAAP
- Lead monthly closing activities for R&D expenditure
- Provide meaningful report and analysis as decision support for COGS and R&D Spend
- Implement solid and efficient forecasting process for COGS and R&D Spend
Job Specifications
Education : Bachelor Degree or Brevet in Finance
Years Experience : 2-3 years in a similar position
Skills :
- Thorough understanding and experience of standard accounting concepts, practices, procedures and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ability to analyze and translate complex data into easily understandable information and make recommendations using analytical expertise to solve complex problems
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
- Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office applications and database management tools
