Job Designation

To further strengthen our Quality department, we are currently looking for a “Customer Quality Engineer”.


The Position

As “Customer Quality Engineer” you will be accountable for technical product support and customer compliance to requirement during Program Lifecycle Management & coordination of quality actions and improvement opportunities to achieve Quality KPIs. Moreover, you will be responsible to manage several Customer Portfolio.

Job Core Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Be the focal point and the responsible for managing customer activities including scorecards / reviews / assessments / improvement plans
  • Manage and Support Customers audits and visits including CAPA activities
  • Manage the compliance of the organization from SMM-001 and Customer expectations
  • Promote internal Meggitt requirements including Meggitt MPS activities and Quality Zero Defect (ZD) such as Lead internal initiatives to deliver ZD plan as per customer requirements
  • Deploys ZD focus for the targeted customers and internal products and services to achieve CoPQ
  • Act as single point of contact for coordinating all internal activities including engineering support requests made for in-service product/service resulting from issues raised
  • Provide expertise and guidance improvements within technical/service issues such as lead KAIZEN, 8D problem solving such as provide related support, training or coaching
  • Be the PLM accountable in terms of Quality after Initial Production Release during PLM Phases 1/4/5/6/7 for maintenance and production issues occurring on products.
  • Manage cross-functional teams by defining project teams and seeking resources to achieve projects
  • Lead Customer Quality Notification and activities for its portfolio
  • Define, execute and track the business case for product improvement, obsolescence, Zero Defect  projects
Job Specifications

Your Profile

  • Engineering degree in mechanical, electronics or microengineering (HES/EPF or equivalent)
  • Min. 3 year experience in electronics/mechanical development or production engineering
  • Exposure to manufacturing/repairs environment
  • Experience of cross-functional team coordination
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with various levels within the organization and externally to the organization
