Our Airframe Systems division brings together an extensive range of skills and abilities to support some of the world’s leading commercial, business and military aircraft manufacturers


Across its five product groups, Airframe Systems produces a host of world leading technology. Our Braking Systems product group supplies both military and commercial aircrafts.


We seal essential spaces, such as landing gear, wings, engines, nacelles, windows and doors, and produce intelligent air data systems and sensors that measure altitude, angle or acceleration

Role Summary:


To lead and supervise Site Services workers in the provision of janitorial, maintenance and general site support services

Core Responsibilities:


  • Key holding, security and overseeing all site opening / closing duties
  • Oversee site cleaning work and act as the focal point for communication with contractors
  • Provision materials to replenish toilet consumables, materials for site cleaning and consumables for pool vehicles.
  • Replenishment of water bottle, photocopier and other general purpose site stocks.
  • Cleaning and basic maintenance of pool vehicles
  • Ensure all maintenance requests generated are actioned and completed in a timely manner.
  • Carry out basic building maintenance, repair, carpentry, plumbing and electrical works as and when required.
  • Provide labour for general furniture removals, plant relocations and general ‘lift & shift’ services including the use of a Fork Lift.
  • To manage day-to-day HR issues within the Site Services Team including, where appropriate, recruitment, PDRs, discipline, good employee relations, morale and communications.
  • Assist in monitoring site services budgets and expenditure
  • Reporting time and attendance, arranging overtime, emergency cover and approving team holidays in a manner that ensures continuity of support to the business
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:


  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent plus experience of working in an industrial maintenance environment
  • Good Knowledge of manual handling tasks
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance skills, e.g. building, plumbing and electrical
  • Basic knowledge of security and systems
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety awareness
  • Focused on task completion and can work on a number of tasks at the same time
  • Experience of responding to internal customer needs
  • Ability to assess they key issues of the day and prioritise the associated actions
  • Appreciation of budgeting and cost control
  • Previous experience of managing a small team
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of a buildings maintenance environment
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues involved in maintaining plant and equipment
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the types of general site services required to operate a manufacturing facility
