Job Designation

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) partners with managers and employees to align human resource services with the business objectives. Acts as change agent and lead the talent management activities. Anticipates and assesses human 
resources related needs and seeks to implement integrated solutions. Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees.

Job Core Responsibilities

- Provides human resources guidelines, and aligns human resource solutions to meet current and long term business requirements
- Works closely with the business unit management and employees to increase productivity and retention
- Partners with business leadership to develop and implement a wide variety of talent management activities to identify, grow, and retain critical talent
- Collaborates with business leadership in developing succession plans, for key talents and key job positions, while aligning with the company policy and business needs
- Provides performance management guidance, and together with the business leadership provoke positive changes in the people management
- Partners with management to communicate and implement various Human Resources policies, procedures, standards and government laws/regulations
- Identifies training and individual coaching needs in designated business units
- Works with business and company leadership, within company guidelines, to resolve complex employee relations issues, and to 
conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- The primary duties of this job require administrative, non-manual work directly related to business operations involving responsibility for processes and policies of significance, evaluation of possible solutions and results of the work for which the 
employee is responsible and making recommendations and/or decisions accordingly using professional judgment. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Job Specifications

Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow 
successful performance of job expectations

Years of Experience:5- 7 years or relevant experience, preferably in a large, high volume, global environment


  • Knowledge and experience in managing human resource programs, processes, administrative procedures and compliance with government laws/regulations as appropriate for the business location 
  • Ability to anticipate internal or external business challenges/regulatory issues and make recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing HR projects/programs, and ability to influence and drive organization planning and execution at the unit level
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional disciplines; using excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize with changing situations
  • Ability to problem-solve using existing procedures, analysis and standard practices to make judgments
  • Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop clear detailed plans and to negotiate and influence, while exercising sensitivity to the audience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools
