Job Designation

The Electrical Engineering 2 will provide electrical engineering expertise for all phases of product development, from design through production. 

Job Core Responsibilities
  • Provides Electrical Engineering expertise for a range of activates; designing, testing, maintaining, and improving electronic components or products
  • Solves technical problems using a combination of experience, judgment and precedents
  • Applies expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering in various aspects of the development of components and control systems
  • Prepares a range of reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Communicates complex technical information to others in a clear and effective manner
  • Uses discretion and independent judgment when evaluating courses of action; makes decisions after considering various options
  • This position requires performing Sustaining Engineering tasks in addition to new design and development activities, to maintain production of the existing products
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • The Primary duties in this job require analysis, simulations, interpretation or deductions from facts, available information and data. Requirements involve the comparison and the evaluation of possible results or solutions after considering various possibilities and making recommendations and/or decisions accordingly using professional judgment
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

Years Experience: min 3 years of relevant experience

Skills:

  • Experience with PCB/Electronic/Circuit Board design engineering
  • Experience with embedded / control systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to explain a range of complex technical information.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools
  • In-depth Knowledge of Circuit Design
  • Proficient in circuit simulation using SPICE
  • Proficient in Worst Case Analysis of Electronic Circuits to ensure Robust Operation in all Specified Operating Conditions
  • Experience with Altium Designer’s Schematic Capture to be able to enter schematics in Altium
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer’s PCB Design Environment to be able to view and navigate through PCB designs in Altium
  • Ability to write HW Requirements, Test Cases and Procedures
  • Familiarity with DOORS for Requirements Management is a plus
  • Familiarity with RTCA/DO-254 standard and processes is a plus
