Accountability Objective:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager of MAS-Kentucky-Distribution  Center, this position is responsible to maintain inventory accuracy of the receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment operations. This position is also responsible for the maintenance of inventory controls, procedures , and systems that are used within the MAS-Kentucky Distribution facility. This position will work closely with Warehouse Manager, Inventory Analyst and Planning to meet this objective.
 

Job Core Responsibilities
  • This individual will be required to maintain controls, procedures, systems and reports to ensure inventory accuracy is retained at a high level at the MASS Distribution Center. Perform daily cycle counts to provide audit support of the MASS-Kentucky distribution operation ..

    This individual working with the Inventory Analyst will report and record as necessary all adjustments and discrepancies within the receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations of the distribution center and report on a weekly basis to the Inventory Control Analyst and Warehouse Manager. Report on a monthly basis the cycle count results for the distribution center and make recommendations where corrective action is needed.

    The Stockroom Coordinator will research discrepancies and variances in the distribution center , analyzing data to make recommendations on inventory systems improvements. Assist Inventory Control Analyst and Warehouse Manager on performance issues to improve inventory accuracy.

    This individual will assist the Warehouse Manager and Inventory Analyst  in maintaining work processes that emphasize reduced throughput times in the receiving, warehousing , packaging, and shipping operations while maintaining a high level of accuracy of data transactions and hardware movements in a work environment that embraces lean principles in all areas.

    The stockroom coordinator will be required to work with receiving personnel to insure product is put away in a timely manner and consolidated as needed to clear warehouse space . They will work closely with the inventory analyst, warehouse and receiving personnel and quality personnel to oversee product is moved physically and systematically when issues are found to resolve and make sure all inventory is correctly located per SAP locations.

    Responsible for working in a safe manner and observing all company procedures regarding environmental , health, and safety matters .

    Miscellaneous:
    Individual will be expected to support all facility and company-wide goals, objectives and initiatives.

    The Stockroom Coordinator will be expected to work effectively with members of the MABSKY Management team, groups and other company representatives as well as other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications

Education : An Associate Degree or Vocational Certificate in Business management or Warehousing/ Logistics
Certifications :
Years Experience : A minimum of two (2) years' experience in managing inventory in a warehouse setting, reports, and cycle counts to ensure overall accuracy of the warehouse inventory is required. A minimum of two years' experience operating a fork lift stand up and sit down type . The individual must be very detailed oriented, exceptionally organized; have effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and strong analytical/problem solving skills,
including utilization of Microsoft Excel, Word . Relevant computer software know-how with an ERP business system, preferably SAP, is required. Have the ability to work alone and in teams, manage multiple inventory items and locations.

Skills :   

  •   Knowledge and experience in inventory and materials management processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team
  •   Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  •   Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
  •   Ability to solve typical problems by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options
  •   Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
  •   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
