Job Designation

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator performs routine administrative and clerical functions. Completes daily assignments under general supervision in support of one or more administrative teams.  

Job Core Responsibilities

  • •    Performs routine clerical functions under general supervision to support administrative teams.
    •    Performs verification of receiving records for accuracy, and supports any office functions to assist shipping, inventory control, returns and OSV processes.
    •    Works closely with the Customer Service Rep. by monitoring and responding via email to customer RMA requests in the OE RMA mailbox.
    •    Creates the RMA per the customers’ requests, organizes available paperwork and prepares the folder for the Customer Service Rep. 
    •    Sorts and assists customer returns which will require sorting and counting with attention to detail regarding same parts with different batch numbers and serial numbers. 
    •    Answers phones, performs routine data entry, filing, copying, scanning and other associated clerical tasks.
    •    Sorts, bags, and labels small kits for inventory control and possibly ship kit area as needed.
    •    Creates labels as needed for ship kit area, inventory control and other areas as needed.
    •    Works with receiving as necessary to make sure test reports are with serialized parts before they go to stock.
    •    Operates a variety of standard office equipment in performance of duties.
    •    Monitors supplies (labels, pouches, etc.) for shipping office and makes sure stock is available at all times.
    •    Other responsibilities as assigned.
    •    Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. Some overtime may be required depending on work load.
    •    Some responsibilities will require time spent in warehouse environment.
    •    Required to wear safety steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and any other required PPE.

Job Specifications

Education : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Years Experience : 0-2 years or more of relevant experience
Skills :

  • •    Demonstrated ability to handle clerical tasks in an office environment.
    •    Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
    •    Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
    •    Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options.
    •    Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
    •    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    •    SAP experience preferred but not required.
