Across its five product groups, Airframe Systems produces a host of world leading technology. Our Braking Systems product group supplies both military and commercial aircrafts.

We seal essential spaces, such as landing gear, wings, engines, nacelles, windows and doors, and produce intelligent air data systems and sensors that measure altitude, angle or acceleration. These sensors can be used on planes, train control systems or even missile control systems.

Job Designation

The Repair Station Manager is responsible for the management of all Repair Station activities in an aircraft brake and wheel repair operation, including oversight of repair and evaluation processes, assembly operations and test, product investigations and customer support in a FAA certificated facility. He/she ensures customer satisfaction through maintaining customer contract requirements, company objectives, management directives and compliance with FAA regulations to assure continued airworthiness of articles serviced at the Repair Station.

Job Core Responsibilities

•    Responsible for the Repair Station's activities in developing, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures which comply with applicable aviation, customer and regulatory requirements
•    Ensures that competent personnel are available to manage and monitor the day-to-day operations of the department, which include but are not limited to; employee health and safety, technical training, FAA compliance, environmental compliance, administrative support, and the overall safety and satisfaction of employees and customers
•    Maintains adequate facilities, trained personnel, technical data, tooling, parts, hardware and support equipment in order to accomplish all authorized maintenance requirements for the Repair Station
•    Develop and foster a Continuous Improvement Culture, implementing new and/or improved processes for enhanced safety, efficiency, and reliability performance.
•    Development of tracking and reporting on the area expenses and capital budgets to meet company financial targets
•    Manage the manufacturing schedule according to production priorities and customer demand
•    Coordinate with other managers, supervisors and cross-functional team members regarding required labor resources, shift coverage, employee development and training
•    Root cause analysis of material non-conformances including machine, equipment and/or tool malfunctions
•    Interpret operational data, take actions and report on manufacturing key performance indicators against company targets
•    Ensure that manufacturing process and products meet customer requirements, OEM and/or Overhaul Repair Manual specifications and FAA regulations. Follow and enforce company Quality Management System, standard practices and procedures
•    Maintain manufacturing best practices, lead continuous improvement efforts, and lead development of High Performance Systems for the Repair Station
•    Be able to conduct daily stand-up communications (DLA) to the Repair and Overhaul Team

Job Specifications

Education:  Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent combination of relevant education and management experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations

Years' Experience: Minimum 5 years manufacturing management experience or extensive aerospace repair service experience
