Role Summary:


We have an exciting Logistics Team Leader role to work at our state of the art facility in Coventry.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Logistics Operatives to ensure the safe, accurate and timely movement of goods in and out of our Ansty Park Warehouse.

Job Core Responsibilities:


  • Lead and coordinate assignment of the day-to-day activities of the Logistics Coordinators.
  • Act as the first point of contact to the internal customer/supplier community
  • Lead the resolution of queries and transaction errors.
  • Lead and coordinate the execution of the PI count and error resolution (as appropriate)
  • Lead continuous improvement activities under the guidance of the MPS team
  • Ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of the Logistics function
  • Functional training of the team to cover all aspects of the Logistics function
  • Champion the engagement of a High Performance Culture



Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Relevant Logistics Team Leader experience
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP WMS module
  • Good understanding of housekeeping, 5S/6S principles
  • Proactive approach to mentoring & coaching people management including shift scheduling, time and attendance to ensure cover within the team at all times.
  • Ability to effectively resolve conflict
  • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports
  • Good/Strong/Excellence verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
