Role Summary

The Senior HRIS Manager provides both strategic and tactical leadership on all aspects of Human Resources technology ensuring enablement and alignment with the broader business, HR, and IT initiatives.

 

They are responsible for the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of HR Systems that support the company’s strategic objectives.  This role will partner with others across HR to oversee the HR systems and tools, ensure delivery of new functionality and system enhancements, provide on-going escalated support of HR tools, ensure governance of HR systems technology, drive analytics/data reporting and manage the HRIS team.

Core Responsibilities
  • Project Management responsibilities in support of HR and business objectives, both service delivery and technology oriented
  • HR systems daily management and governance: 
    • Manage new system releases/upgrades Establish and manage governance for HR systems in regards to system changes, priorities, and impacts
    • Leads the research and evaluation of new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance HR operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
    • Ensure delivery, documentation and escalated support of Business Process configuration and integration/interfaces for both new functionality and enhancements
    • Engages team members to ensure the appropriate change management plans are in place to support new, enhanced technology or functionality
    • Provide necessary training to end users to increase their effectiveness and ability to use HR systems and tools
    • Ensure compliant security administration supporting data privacy and protection requirements
    • Ensure the appropriate development and execution of internal/external controls compliance
    • Delivery appropriate quality control over HR systems including maintenance of test scenarios and appropriate execution of testing for various changes
  • Lead and manage the HRIS Team:  Accountable for managing employee lifecycle of all team members, Own Engagement, Performance Reviews, Development Plans, and employee relations issues for direct reports.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Success Factors & ADP applications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of HR practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to plan for and lead change efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to establish partnerships and strong working relationships globally
  • High integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills required
