Job Summary

Overall responsibility to ensure that both Meggitt and the Customer adhere to the provisions of their complex agreement and is responsible for the life of a contract, from supporting the business in winning the contract, the management of the contract, its modification and interpretation to exit. The Senior Commercial Manager also assesses contractual and commercial risk and provides appropriate advice to the Commercial Team, and regional leadership. The Senior Commercial Manager has responsibility for a number of key customers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drafts, reviews and negotiates commercial documents such as NDA’s and Terms and Conditions, leading on complex and supporting Commercial Lead on group opportunities
  • Actively supports the bid team in responding to RFI’s or RFP’s including obtaining necessary internal approvals, leading on complex and supporting Commercial Lead on group opportunities
  • Provides other commercial and contracts support as requested by the VP Commercial
  • Working with peers across Energy and Equipment to drive standardization and continuity of customer service practices wherever possible across global sites
  • Ensures that export compliance, data protection and other relevant regulations and legislation for the region are followed
  • Lead in the dissemination of agreements
  • Leads/participates in Commercial Team improvement projects and initiatives
  • Provides Business Context Training to other Functions within Services & Support
  • Drafts and negotiates agreements, contracts and their amendments, settlements and claims
