Job Summary


The global aircraft handling service industry is expected to increase significantly over the next five years; namely due to the improving business environment and rising passenger traffic, which are expected to increase aircraft movements. This in turn is expected to drive the demand for the aircraft handling industry.  one of the main markets to grow is that of Ramp Services, Runway Maintenance and Operation of Fueling.

Our role is centred on increasing sales within Ground Fuelling services and you will be responsible for increasing sales within product ales, marketing, distributor management within the EMEA and Middle East territory. As an experienced professional you will Identify business growth opportunity and act on them, order forecasting for the region and deliver on financial KPI based Budget plan. This role requires circa 40% travel including international once restrictions allow.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of a designated product portfolio within EMEA region and Middle East
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers including, making regular visits to potential and existing customers in allocated region
  • Present Meggitt’s products and services to our customers
  • Track OEM’s activities & assist end-user customers in developing equipment specifications
  • Offer support to our distributor & end user customer
  • Market and product intelligence collection and promotion
  • Conduct and deliver hands-on training.
  • Maintains a regular and flexible travel schedule to meet customer demands.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Sales experience ideally within Aerospace or Manufacturing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, and/or other business system to support customer bids and performance reviews
  • Adaptable, persuasive with strong problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage difficult customer issues across departmental lines
  • Self-starter who can work independently but also be part of a global team
  • Resilient individual
