About the role

 

The Record to Report Manager holds a critical operational remit and is responsible for a consistent, streamlined, global Record to Report processes through the leverage of industry best practice, controls and technology. The role will lead on operational excellence, with an ongoing focus on continuous improvement, and will also include elements of transformation and transition.

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Operation Performance and Delivery - Accountable for the operation of standard process, systems and controls that complies with regulatory and statutory requirements in all relevant jurisdictions; and ensures the integrity of financial data

  • Continuous Improvement - Enable increases of FSSC effectiveness and efficiency through continuous improvement

  • People & Teams - Drive process capabilities and skills, develop the performance of your team in line with the Group’s policies and systems in order to achieve business goals

Skills & Experience

 

  • 8+ Years of experience in R2R operational management within a global business
  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified
  • Experience of management and financial reporting, balance sheets, reconciliation, journals, banking, fixed assets, intercompany and HMRC returns
  • Extensive experience of SAP in a manufacturing/engineering environment including general ledger, inventory, CAPEX, cost accounting, revenue recognition, MDM and periodic close as well as other R2R tools
  • Functional experience in systems re-engineering, finance shared services or BPO
  • Strong controls bias and experience (SOX preferable)
  • Experience of working with remote teams across multiple locations
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication techniques across a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform complex analysis and reconciliations.
