Role Summary

We are recruiting a newly created Logistics Inventory Analyst role for our state of the art facility in Coventry. 


In this role, you will look to maintain the Ansty Park logistic business processes by driving accuracy, efficiency and service levels. You will be the business expert on SAP WM and storage solutions systems and help us drive a world-class operation. 


You will be joining a FTSE 100 Engineering business who promote a high performance culture. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyse and identify opportunities for future business process improvement.
  • Ensure warehouse business processes are compliant with Meggitt policies and standards.
  • Ensure any process changes are fully tested and deployed.
  • Maintain the SAP warehouse material master field ensuring the values are accurate and reflect actual operation.
  • Maintain the warehouse control system master data ensuring the values are accurate and reflect actual operation. Ensure PI count discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Drive inventory storage optimisation within the warehouse.
  • Ensure any process changes are fully tested and deployed
  • Works with planners to understand root causes for excess inventory and devised appropriate

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Previous experience in running a world class warehouse operation
  • SAP WMS knowledge essential
  • Analytical/date solving ability to solving logistical issues
  • Good knowledge in areas related to inventory control and analysis and uses expertise to solve problems from a systematic and analytical approach
  • Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Excellent communication skills to explain difficult or sensitive information 
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail
