Role Summary:

 

HiETA, part of Meggitt, is an agile, fast-paced product development and production company based in Bristol. We specialise in the design and manufacture of complex thermal systems and heat exchange solutions utilising Additive Manufacturing. As part of plans for continued growth, we have recently created the Sales & Business Development Manager role, responsible for account managing our existing customers and identifying & realising opportunities for new business.

Job Core Responsibilities

 

  • Ensuring our existing customers are supported through the product life-cycle, providing technical support where needed
  • Identify leads and developing new business to support the business plan
  • Responsible for delivering Hieta’s sales target
  • Maintenance, development, and management of the sales pipeline and CRM tool
  • Benchmarking activities with new and current markets
  • Developing proposals and quotes
  • Account management

 

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

 

  • Technically-minded sales professional (we will also consider engineering candidates looking for a move into Sales)
  • Ideally degree qualified in an engineering-related subject
  • Excellent communication skills; able to develop, maintain and deliver high-value, technically differentiated products and services
  • Background working across a number of different industrial markets would be advantageous
  • Team player, but able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
