Role Summary


The position is focused on supporting the Ansty HR function. The HR specialist will ensure that human resource processes are followed and that a high quality of service is provided to all customers.  

Core Responsibilities


  • Coordination of temporary agent workers and contractors, assisting HRBPs with tracking and invoicing
  • Maintain HR databases, including those relating to maternity, paternity, sickness absence and turnover
  • Assist HRBPS where necessary with the implementation of policy and HR initiatives
  • Carry out low level grievances, disciplinary and investigations when required
  • Arrange and carry out exit interviews, ensuring the leaver process is always completed smoothly and efficiently
  • Help to analyse engagement survey results and implement any necessary changes
  • Aid HR administrators with on-boarding process
  • Use initiative to refine processes where inefficiencies affect the quality of service HR can provide
  • Report identified trends and make recommendations to senior HR team members where appropriate
  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions and identification of competencies
  • Monitor the completion of probationary periods and follow up on probationary reviews for successful/unsuccessful completion raising early concerns with HRBPs where required
  • Represent HR at HSE meetings and complete the monthly HSE checklist for the department
  • Oversee the overall immigration process and maintain right to work records
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities


  • Knowledge of human resource processes and procedures and ability to apply best practice in the workplace
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders throughout the business
  • Confident when presenting verbally and excellent written communication skills
  • Able to rigidly stick to confidentiality regulations and enforce across the business
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure whilst multi-tasking
  • Proficient SAP knowledge is desirable
  • Understanding of and evidence of participation in administering HR/ payroll interface
  • Level 3 CIPD qualification or above
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment desirable but not essential
