Role Summary

 

The Site HR team within Ansty Park have recently undergone a significant amount of change following the acquisition of Meggitt into Parker Hannifin. What was previously a HR Shared Service team is now a site dedicated team, with responsibility for 900 team members across two manufacturing sites in Coventry. We’re looking for a HR Services Lead to oversee and take responsibility ensuring the HR team are offering an excellent service spanning administration, reporting, policies & processes, system maintenance and contract management. You will work closely with the site HR Administrator and support them with managing our "AskHr" services inbox which is the first point of contact for our HR queries.

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Support the HR team with data and reporting requests to support the HR generalist team with their regular reporting requirements. Review and update core HR processes, procedures and systems, looking for opportunities to improve ways of working, policies, and opportunities to reduce unnecessary administration. 
  • Support the Site HR Manager to develop a regular “run the business” meeting and reporting tool that contains key KPIs, statistics and people related data
  • Take ownership for resolving all administrative and HR operations based queries, acting as the escalation point for any operations and service based issues.
  • Liaise with Payroll to ensure the monthly Payroll submissions are accurate, on time and approved.
  • Keep up to date with UK employment law and ensure our documents, contracts, policies and procedures are fit for purpose and in line with legislation. You will be the responsible owner of our annual HR policy review in partnership with the Site HR Manager and internal quality team.
  • Support audits related to HR process, procedure and systems.
  • Support the HR Generalist team with maintaining data integrity and processing of employee data for key processes such as the annual performance review, salary & bonus reviews.
  • Liaise with the SAP HRIS team on all system related matters, including the Kronos Time and Attendance system. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements and providing regular updates to the HRIS team.
  • Manage HR third party contracts, including Docuware e-filing, Vero screening services, Occupational Health, Cycle to Work scheme and other UK Benefits.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

     

  • Experience working with various HR Systems and high proficiency in Excel or other tools such as PowerBi
  • Previous experience of working in an HR Operations role or HR Data role
  • Agile in thinking and methodical approach.
  • Ability to research and analyze data effectively.
  • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare workforce reports.
  • Ability to problem-solve using existing procedures, using analysis and standard practices to make judgments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
