Job Summary

This role could be fulltime or part time dependent on successful person.

To support the Services & Support EMEA Region and the UK based finance function. The business has recently undergone a period of significant growth which includes the relocation of offices (within Coventry) to a brand new facility and an SAP implementation, so an individual comfortable and capable of operating during times of exciting, positive change is essential.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support with daily administration including: daily sales and inventory reporting, reviewing shipping and invoicing blocks
  • Managing SAP invoice workflow including raising indirect purchase requisitions, vendor masterdata, reviewing open POs
  • Support the month end close process including preparation and posting of journals, sales and orders reporting, margin reviews
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the implementation of reporting and control process improvements
  • Support for internal & external financial audits at S&S UK

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • AAT or Part-Qualified
  • Basic understanding of standard accounting concepts, practices and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in changing situations
  • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options    
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accurate data entry skills
