Job Designation

Control and movement of raw materials through manufacturing equipment, complying with all HSE guidelines, producing etched material product in line with design and quality standards whilst achieving all production targets.   This role will be on a rotating shift pattern which will reflect business demands.

Job Core Responsibilities

Undertake a range of chemical etching processes including but not limited to those listed below

Competent in operating at least two processes (under supervision)

Pre Clean

Print

Develop

Strip

Additional responsibilities will include movement of metal and materials, as well as performing daily plant checks, reporting breakdowns or unsafe plant/conditions

Safety / Processes:   -  Understanding  of risks involved on a chemicals site:  compliant with all procedures in order to operate and maintain the production chemical processes in a safe and competent manner

Safety / People:   Compliant with working practices for all HSE and site regulations, ensuring their own and their colleagues safety. Engage with Continuous Improvement initiatives to support High Performance System activities, especially with regard to 6S standards

Job Specifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required): Secondary School Education to include a good standard of English and Maths

Field of Study/Area of Experience

2-4 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment – chemical or metal processing site would be advantageous
