Across its five product groups, Airframe Systems produces a host of world leading technology. Our Braking Systems product group supplies both military and commercial aircrafts.

We seal essential spaces, such as landing gear, wings, engines, nacelles, windows and doors, and produce intelligent air data systems and sensors that measure altitude, angle or acceleration. These sensors can be used on planes, train control systems or even missile control systems.

Job Designation

The Operations Analyst is responsible for providing the visibility of inventory status for the Braking Systems business, updating inventory models at the aggregate and part levels, recommending targets and analyzing data to identify opportunities to improve inventory turns.  This role requires close coordination with the Planning, Operations and Finance functions in order to achieve customer delivery goals while meeting the company’s inventory targets.  Ongoing assessment of the demand, supply lead times and their variability coupled with insight into improvement tactics is essential for success in this position.  This role is hands on and requires direct participation in the operations of the business and supports company management with information and analyses used in decision making.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Update the global inventory model monthly (Plan for Every Part).
  • Monitor and analyze weekly and monthly inventory variances.
  • Adjust planning parameters as required to support demand / supply / finance targets.
  • Collaborate with Finance on management and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Collect data and prepare reports for S&OP reviews and other corporate reporting requirements.
  • Measure and analyze progress against the operating plan.
  • Identify inventory turns improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor Inventory Records Accuracy metric and leverage best practices.

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor degree or 8-10 years related work experience
Years’ Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Certifications: APICS CPIM and/or CSCP preferred
•    Proven track record in a planning and analysis role with an understanding of lean manufacturing
•    Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, required
•    Prior key user experience of an ERP system, preferably SAP/HANA
•    Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP/ECC6 preferred) and Demand Solutions software
•    Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, decision making, planning, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
•    Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
•    Ability to travel as required (minimal)
