Job Designation

The Operations Analyst will report to the Director, Customer Support Planning.  This role is responsible for providing accurate information and interpretation of the business status including sales to plan analyses, delivery performance metrics, customer orders, budget preparation and other selected reports in support of the S&OP process. This role is hands-on, requires direct participation and understanding of business operations, and supports Operations teams with data, analyses and communication used for problem solving, opportunity identification and decision making.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Provide daily sales performance measurements, analysis and report for daily/weekly/monthly horizons.
  • Maintain the on-time delivery performance process and data, including sales order arrears analysis and reports.
  • Collect and analyze manufacturing and procurement data to maintain total replenishment lead time accuracy.
  • Analyze data, measure progress against the operating plan.
  • Collaborate and problem solve with other functions in areas of core responsibilities.
  • Support the communications process of the Integrated Operations Management team.
  • Support month-end Operational reporting.

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a planning, scheduling or customer service role.

Skills  

  • Proven track record in a planning and analysis role.
  • Understanding of lean enterprise principles.
  • Prior experience in working with ERP systems, preferably SAP/HANA. Key User experience preferred (SAP/ECC6).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint and database creation/management.
  • Certifications: APICS CPIM and/or CSCP preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, decision-making, planning, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills.
  • Personal flexibility to support activity at peak demand periods of month closing, budget and strategy events.
  • Ability to travel as required (limited travel requirement).
