Job Designation

The Marketing Business Planning Analyst will provide direct support to the Director of Business Planning & Market Intelligence in activities related to Meggitt’s market intelligence, analysis and forecasting activities, as well as the Sales & Marketing business planning activities within the Braking Systems Product Group. 

Job Core Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development of ongoing business planning processes within the Product Group (e.g. annual/monthly bookings forecasts) as well as longer-term planning processes (e.g. 10 year forecasts).
  • Utilize external data sources to assist with the development of delivery and fleet forecasting efforts.
  • Maintain updates to key market trackers (air traffic, load factors, utilization, jet fuel prices, military outlays, airline profitability).
  • Support the collection of ship set analysis and other analyses to support full and half year financial reporting.
  • Assist in the effort to identify trends in bookings and sales, improve efficiency in recurring processes, and provide analyses to proactively identify short and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Assist with market research and analysis to support Meggitt’s pursuit of new business opportunities.
Job Specifications

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance or expereince in lieu of degree accpetable

Years Experience: 3 years of Marketing, Finance or Business analysis experience (e.g. data analytics, marketing analysis, financial analysis).   


  • Experience working with large, complex data sets and disparate data sources across various platforms
  • Highly effective at distilling complex and voluminous content into clear, concise evaluations
  • Good communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent knowledge of modern office software and collaboration tools (e.g. Excel, Word, WebEx,)
  • Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is preferred.
