Job Designation
The IT Systems Technical Analyst defines, configures, tests, trains and supports business-related information technology requirements and systems. Collaborating with Group and Division subject matter experts and 3rd party IT vendors, will lead directly, or co-lead, single technology or regional IT projects with accountability for completing on time, budget and meeting expectations.
Job Core Responsibilities
⦁ Leads directly, or co-leads, complex and/or global digital and IT project tasks delivering business results that meet deadlines; provide guidance to project resources within and across multiple teams as needed.
⦁ Performs system analysis, interprets data to identify gaps in technology or processes and makes recommendations within the IT and/or business function.
⦁ Assists in the development and implementation of new technologies/services including communication and reporting to key stakeholders on status and project closure.
⦁ Communicates decisions & formalize recommendations impacting area of responsibility to manager and business partners and key stakeholders where appropriate.
⦁ Point of contact assisting with most communications and project expectations with 3rd party IT and service vendors.
⦁ Support and perform system/application upgrades of engineering software and licenses, and assist with the long term migration to standard engineering tools and CMMC remediation for applications.
⦁ Manages own priorities and provides direction, guidance and mentoring to team members.
⦁ Delivers multiple solutions while managing conflicting priorities and resources.
⦁ Conducts knowledge transfer and/or cross training with team members.
⦁ Empowering and encouraging team members to provide feedback on ideas that deliver quality solutions.
⦁ Preforms a wide range of complex work to establish and maintain information systems, databases and interfaces to meet business objectives.
⦁ Provides significant expertise in monitoring and managing user accounts for hardware, network, related computer systems and peripheral devices.
⦁ Identifies and addresses complex usability problems, while monitoring and managing user account.
⦁ Responds to and resolves computer problems quickly to ensure maximum uptime and minimum disruption to user activity.
⦁ Analyzes, develops, and implements business solutions for the Information Services Delivery Function.
⦁ Builds, configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software.
⦁ Acts as a lead in Information Services projects, performs analysis and implements multi-function office systems.
⦁ Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs and makes recommendations to increase efficiency to meet business needs.
⦁ Other responsibilities as assigned.
⦁ Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
⦁ Ability to travel as needed.
⦁ Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
⦁ Available to provide after-hours and weekend technical support as needed. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
Job Specifications
Education: Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent)
Years' Experience: 5+ years related IT experience; experience working with Engineering and manufacturing applications desired
Skills:
- Basic knowledge in VMWare
- Basic knowledge in server support (Win Server 2008-2019)
- Basic understanding of Networks and Cisco Technology
- Proficient in supporting Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 Professional & Microsoft Office 365
- Experience working with Engineering and Manufacturing applications and IT Security preferred
- Basic knowledge in SCCM, managing GPOs, and Active Directory Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively
