Job Designation

The Divisional Human Resources Business Partner leads the Human Resources Team in delivering services, policies and programs generally within a business unit or a site. Designs, implements and monitors a variety of human resource programs.  Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management. Ensures programs are aligned with legal requirements and Meggitt’s strategic goals.

Job Core Responsibilities
  • HR Business Partner for Divisional functions
  • Tracks the monthly Engines HR Dashboard which shows progress on key HR actions in the clearest and simplest way possible. Maintain the dashboard so it can be used to help ensure the appropriate level of prioritization is maintained and responsible parties are held to account for completing actions.  Where ever practicable the dashboard should draw on work from the HR CoE’s and HRISON team.
  • Provides HR support to the SVP, Human Resources and HR site teams
  • Performs HR analytics for the division in collaboration with HRISon team  
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports with multiple inputs from sites
  • Coordinates with other Divisional HR Specialists to ensure data is shared cross divisionally
  • Manages timelines for the division associated with program roll out from HR Operations team products/services
  • Uses broad knowledge of company operations, analyzes conflicting situations and priorities and identifies alternative courses of action
  • Manages projects and/or project timelines in support of business objectives and provides metrics reports and analysis of data
  • Prepares HR presentation materials
  • Performs data management, and creates professional documents
  • Gathers and synthesizes data from multiple sources
  • Supports recruiting process with TA team for Divisional roles
  • Maintains budgeted to actual headcount reporting via open requisition tracking
  • Works in conjunction with the SVP HR to ensure and track Engines sites senior and high potential colleagues have meaningful development plans and support the identification of successors for at least 50% of senior roles
  • Support the Engines Diversity and Inclusion program and works with all site HR leads to progress the program. Track and report progress to help ensure on going improvement
  • Establish strategic training needs based on requirements from colleague’s development plans and priorities at our focus sites. In conjunction with the Meggitt L&D leader develop a training plan to meet these needs 
  • Co-ordinate International Assignment actions for key colleagues in line with Meggitt policy and working with external parties identified by the business such as Relocation Today. Track costs and ensure our succession plans support the successful repatriation of colleagues (or confirms their next assignment) well in advance of their role concluding
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications

Education Level: (Preferred):      Bachelor's Degree  or equivalent experience

  • A sound understanding of core HR concepts and models such as Performance Review process, Bonus cycle, Talent & Succession planning etc
  • Has the ability to persuade and influence key stakeholders at all levels
  • Is able to identify the critical path in processes and anticipate bottle necks and challenges to help ensure they are avoid before they become problematic
  • Knowledge and experience of HR as a function of business with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees and management 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain confidentialities
  • Ability to research, analyze and interpret complex data
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and concepts
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and judgment to proactively identify and solve problems 
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
  • Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to drive tasks to completion      
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools
