Job Designation

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Coordinates activities and performs administrative duties, while aligning tasks with the team’s goals and business objectives.

This position will be involved in the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, payroll, training, compensation & benefits and performance management for the company and other SBU units (CSS Singapore – 67, MAP – 3, MSS – 2, Heatric – 1, MTS – 9) – Total 82 Meggitt Employees for HR support.
 

Job Core Responsibilities

  1. Preparation of monthly payroll processing, as well as payroll and manpower reports
  2. Participate in local government survey
  3. Conduct orientation for all new employees. Arrange for Safety/ Quality briefing on 1st day.
  4. Leave system administration
  5. Administration of NS, maternity, childcare, paternity claim etc. Regular submission of claims to the local government.
  6. Process application/renewal/cancellation of work passes
  7. Preparation of confidential letters (eg: Offer Letters, Confirmation, Acceptance of resignation letters)
  8. Sign up or renewal of mobile line contracts for designated employees.
  9. Assist in the training registration, coordination and administration of pre/post course training, applications for training centres, government grants/subsidies, pre-training logistics arrangements etc.
  10. Assist to organize staff recreational activities
  11. Update of HR Noticeboard on Corporate and HR matters

Job Specifications

Education A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Certifications  
Years Experience 2 or more years of relevant experience

Skills    

  • Knowledge and experience in human resources processes and the ability to coordinate activities for a team
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills 
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
  • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options      
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
