Job Designation

Truck driver work consists of operating the company truck, forklift and working in the warehouse.  The job includes making deliveries, pickups and working in the warehouse when driving is not required.  This position is for the day shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Employee is responsible for loading and unloading the company truck and any other trucks that are delivering and picking up at Nasco. 
  • Employee will also be delivering and picking up parts, material, mail and passengers.  This must be done in a timely manner.
  • Employee must be able to drive a forklift.
  • The parts/material that the employee will be handling is oily and dirty.
  • There is frequent light lifting and occasional heavy lifting.
  • Employee must have the required license to comply with the state and federal laws.
  • Employee must obey and understand California city and state traffic laws; care must be exercised to protect material, truck or car and passengers from damage or injury.
  • No Passengers are allowed in the company truck unless it has been approved by management.
  • Employee will also be working in the warehouse at times moving parts/material around and stacking parts as well as packaging and counting parts.
  • Employee may be asked to perform other duties as directed by management.
  • Employee may need to work weekends and additional hours as necessary.

Job Specifications

Education:  High School Diploma or GED

Years Experience: 2-3 years

Required: Printout DMV Record
